Returning to Miami after eight years was like stepping into a vibrant tapestry woven with news threads of creativity, culture, and culinary excellence. A Beachside Retreat
Miami Beach greeted me with its iconic Art Deco architecture, sun-kissed sandy shores, and an electric atmosphere that is hard to replicate. Whether I was lounging by the beach or strolling along Ocean Drive, the energy was palpable. The crystal-clear waters of the Atlantic beckoned, but it was the local dining scene that truly captured my heart.
We stayed at Sonder the Deco Miami beach, which had very nice pool and bar. For our active lifestyle, this was perfect choice.

Dining Extravaganza
One of the highlights of my stay was dining at Kiki on the River, a Mediterranean-inspired restaurant that offers stunning waterfront views. The ambiance here is as much a feast for the eyes as the food is for the palate. From fresh seafood dishes to expertly crafted cocktails, it's a must-visit, especially for those seeking a lively dining experience.
Tip: Come before sunset to enjoy the vibe with passing party boats & yachts.
I also had the pleasure of indulging at Casadonna, where I tasted some of the most delicious meals I've ever experienced. This intimate eatery takes you on a culinary journey that celebrates local ingredients and innovative flavors, making it a standout choice for food enthusiasts.
Tip: Come to see the sunset or Moon settling behind the horizon and don't forget to order a dessert!
Another culinary gem was Mila, which offers a remarkable omakase experience that redefines dining. The chefs here showcase their artistry with each course, offering a harmonious balance of freshness and presentation. This restaurant encapsulates the gastronomic revolution happening in Miami and is a testament to the city's commitment to exquisite dining.
For those seeking a luxurious nightlife experience, The Members Bar at Mila is the perfect spot to unwind before heading to the second bar/lounge. With its exclusive vibe and carefully curated drinks, it feels like a well-kept secret just waiting to be explored.
I also made my way to Orange Blossom, a vibrant venue that seamlessly blends innovative cocktails with a dynamic atmosphere. It's a place where creativity thrives, making it ideal for a night out with friends.
The energy continued to pulse at Gala Miami, an enchanting venue known for its immersive atmosphere and trendsetting parties. A night here is an experience to remember, with beats that keep you dancing until dawn.
I also visited WATR at the 1 Rooftop, where the panoramic views of the skyline complemented the exquisite menu. This stunning spot allowed me to sip on refreshing cocktails while taking in breathtaking sunsets, making it an unmissable destination.
Brickell's Growth and Charm
The shift in Brickell is striking. Over the years, this neighborhood has transformed into a bustling hub of finance, dining, and entertainment. High-rise condominiums have sprung up, and the local scene is rich with options for every taste. Art galleries, craft cocktail bars, and eclectic eateries now line the streets, creating a vibrant urban landscape.
It's clear that Brickell has become a must-see area, boasting not just business opportunities but also cultural experiences. It's a neighborhood where the pulse of the city is felt most strongly.
A Future Visit's Must-Do: Surf Club at Surfside
